May 2nd - 9th , 2005
Talk about being totally exhausted! We shot our video last Saturday and Sunday and to be a part of how extensive a video production is beyond me! It took around 23 hours to shoot 3 minutes of video. We were constantly running around doing make-up, hardly eating and constantly waiting for the set-up. Marty and Imagen Films had total control of the production.

Saturday
We had to be in Burbank at 8am and set up for the first Scene. When we arrived, Michael from the band Where's Moo, opened the gate and we started our set-up. They were bringing in dollies and film equipment. The make-up girl, Shauna, was setting her area up and then started to get to work on Franci. The crew: Marty, Johnny, Ross and Mark were hard at work setting up the bedroom scene and Brett, Michael and I were trying to wake-up.

We started the first scene and I took off my clothes except for my camo boxers. I layed on the bed with Franci and they started rolling. They must have shot about 40 takes in different angles. After two hours of shooting they were ready to bring the next girl in (Yasemin). Once again, I layed in bed with Yasemin and Marty began shooting. We were done by 1pm.

Okay so here is where filming can suck. Marty paid for a location and had everything set up. He confirmed last week and we were supposed to be there at 2:30pm. When we arrived, the host of the location wasn't there and the people that was there, had no idea we were shooting our video. We waited for this dumb ass to show up, so we can start shooting. He never showed and we had to improvise.

Marty then decided to rent out a rehearsal studio and film the live and party scene there, but we lost about 30 of our cast members from change of location. He re-wrote a script that had us more of a showcase and the girls that came, to be more of dancers that were a part of the video. What was cool is they got WAY more exposure than extras would ever have and the video looked even better because of the studio atmosphere.

So once we were shooting the video, one of the girls rehearsing at the studio wanted to be in the video. She was so drunk and nercous that she jumped on me and started to lick my ear. I was totally freaked out!!! She kept grinding on my leg in the video and falling in my lap. We eventually let her go, or maybe she left, I wasn't really paying attention.

There was another scene where Yasemin is supposed to walk up and whisper seductive things in my ear, while I was supposed to keep a straight face. I really couldn't hear, but she told me bits and pieces of it. OMG!!! I am glad I didn't here it because I would have torn her clothes off right there!

So Marty was done, we were tired and then we drove to see our good friends "Where's Moo" at the Viper Room at 12:30am. I didn't get home until 3:30am.

Sunday
Since I didn't get home until 3:30am, I kinda slept in. I get a call from Marty around 8:15am. He said they were waiting for me and bobby, so I got up, took a shower and picked Bobby up. We arrived on location, half asleep and ready to go. Bobby put on his "mailman" uniform and we started that scene. Then the Impala came driving in and we did the driving scene. Everything was running smoothly and we burned through all these scenes.

So then we had lunch and started setting up for the scene in the record store. It was awesome because I was able to pound on Brett 30 times. He did his "flying in the air while his cds come tumbling down" acted very nicely. We got laughs all day long with that one.

Okay so the video should be edited in a couple of weeks and we will keep you informed of what's going on.
