I am currently a senior at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif, studying journalism, with an emphasis in creative writing.  This site gives me the opportunity to express my passion for God through my writings, music and photography.

I am graduating this Summer and desire to work in the field of journalism as a writer, photojournalist and/or page designer.  I am looking to work for a Christian magazine that will be a great foundation for a career in journalism, with strong work ethics and a passion for Christ and His children.

The written word carries with it a timelessness that often the spoken word lacks.  I have found that writing can touch a much broader spectrum of people than I would encounter, in person, within a lifetime.  Similarly, the photograph is extremely timeless in taking captive the zeitgeist for the time from which it immortalized.  When these arts are finely tuned and used at the appropriate times, their purposes are expanded and can be used to glorify He who created the means for such the ends that He so desires.

Words put to music bring new dimension to the written, by capturing what Martin Luther describes as "next to the Word of God...the greatest treasure in the world. It controls our thoughts, minds, hearts, and spirits."  As a gift from God, music has given humanity a direct means for extolling and praising Him.  I love to get lost in moments of praise for our Father who is eternally wonderful and gracious, and desire to pursue a career in music.  This can be played out through writing, directing a ministry, or performing.  I know that God will place me where He wants me to be.

He is the love of my life and expressing that love through my talents and gifts is my passion.  Whether you are visiting for the first time, or whether you are an everyday visitor, I pray that God would bless you!
