Music:

Great. Great hook and melody. This song is such a pick up after hundreds of average (translate: sucky) songs. I got drawn in and didn't want it to end. I would love to hear the whole cd. One of your strongest points about this number is your ability to create a fluid counter melody throughout the piece. It retains simplicity while not being underdone, and it's not foppish but still exudes optimism.

Lyrics:

Solid. Lyrics always fall to second place when the melodies are well crafted. Together they are a great one two combo. You are truly talented. The road ahead if a tough long one for even the best of us, but you will persevere.

Arrangement &
Production:

Very good. The way you put this together fits perfectly. I only wish you had a website for me to visit so I could see and hear more of you. The production sounds clear, and the mix is fab. Everything is right where it sound be and it hits with just the right amount of volume for this type of song.

Lead Vocal:

Unique intonation. I like it. It's like a Echo and the bunnyman cd. I'm glad to see that someone is interested in creating an interesting vocal line. So many people forget that the voice is another layer of harmony. You've managed to add not only a new complexity to your tune but also a texture through your vocal approach.

Musicianship:

Great sense of melody and composition. It's not complicated but it doesn't need to be. Your choice of what to do is tasteful and appropriate. Totally great job! I can't believe that I am gushing over a song but you deserve it..

Originality:

It's original to sound good nowadays. Chord progressions have been done a thousand times but the way to pull it all together excites me. Not in a "wow, I got to jump around the room" kind of way, but in the "wow, what a great song" kind of way.

Marketability:

In my world this would be on every station. I have a feeling that England would be a more hospitable climate for this tune then America. In America you will be signed to an indie for sure, in England everything is small so you will much bigger by comparison.
